Dental Implants Ottawa, Ontario

Losing your teeth is a serious problem that not only prevents you from eating and speaking properly but also negatively affects your self-esteem due to an imperfect smile. In addition, your jaw structure will shrink without adequate support from natural tooth roots, leading to jaw bone loss and sagging facial muscles. Fortunately, your dentist Dr. Alex Wakter can restore your smile by creating your new artificial teeth through the use of dental implants in Ottawa, ON. What are Dental Implants? A dental implant consists of two parts: A titanium post and a dental crown. The post is surgically attached to your jaw to replace the missing root, as titanium’s unique properties promote easier blending with the jaw bone as well as faster healing. Upon completion of the healing process, we will place a ceramic crown onto the outer portion of the titanium post, which will look and function as your former natural tooth. Dental implants are the ideal solution when you have lost one or more of your teeth. If you have lost a series or even all of your teeth, we can place dental implants to help stabilize your removable bridges or dentures. Why Dental Implants? A dental implant allows an artificial tooth to look and function as if it were real, the procedure has additional benefits, including the following: • Titanium Post and Dental Crown Ottawa, ON • Improved stability and comfort • Better chewing, speaking, and smiling ability • Support for your facial structure, making you appear younger • A long-lasting solution to tooth loss! To learn more about dental implants at our Ottawa office, please call or email us today.
